Way too much stress

Ever had that time in your life when you thought things couldn't get any worse? I think that is this time. But hopefully it will soon be over, because as I write he is sanding. And then tomorrow night he will be staining. And then Saturday he will be sealing it. Oh I just can't wait. I am not sure I can handle anything else right now. So we get to stay at grandmas and help her decorate for Christmas the next few days and then we are going to see my mom. Yesterday we went to the children's museum. We had a great time. Not very many people were there and the girls just sort of walked around and played with the food mostly. Unfortunately they would not go down the slide. I wanted to really bad, but no go. Maybe next time.

Oh yes, tiny got a tooth.

This stupid floor.

Ok, Sam unloaded all my pictures onto the computer.......and then he erased them all. I was so sad. Now I don't even have anything to show for the last four months that I haven't been on here very much. Oh well, what can I do. We sanded the floor and then we stained it, and then we realized that we did a cruddy sand job, so we have a guy coming tomorrow to fix our problem. Then maybe we can stain again and it will look beautiful. Who knows. I just want it to be over. This is the point where everyday I want to say to Sam, "I told you we should have gotten pre-finished wood." What a pain.

Kit just can't go very long without hurting here self. She hit her face on the corner of the table and wanted her face on here, so here it is. I know it is hard to see, but it swelled up pretty good. We just got done with a fabulous Thanksgiving dinner. I love everything at Thanksgiving. Especially dessert. Today it is peanut butter cheesecake and chocolate mousse. I can't wait.

This is the dining room. I really meant to post a few weeks ago, but it didn't happen. We are now done with this room and almost to the front door. I know we have set lots of goals to finish, but I think we can be close to being down on Saturday. It has been such a fun thing to learn. I hope we love it when it is done.

Update

I promise, SOON, we will have pictures. Lots of them. More than you will want to look at.
Just a bit of an update.

Sinclaire got glasses, and she is so, so cute.
You could say we are 1/6 the way done with the floor.
Trader Joe's has a great frozen Orange Chicken. So yummy
Sam's car was totaled so we are waiting for a check in the mail, yeah.
(Anyone have a cheap car for sale.)
I have two dressers to strip and refinish.
Hopefully by the end of Saturday we will have 3/6 of the floor finished.
I have the cutest kids in the world.

We are having a great time in our new place, even if we have no furniture or floors. Our yard is great and the leaves are beautiful. I love the fall time when you can wear long sleeves and just be cozy.

Saturday, October 31, 2009

Maybe someday I will get the Internet. But for now we are putting our hardwood flooring in and we are almost 1/2 done with one room. We have 3 1/2 to go. It is so fun let me tell you. The kiddos were the three blind mice for Halloween and so very cute. They had a great time getting candy.

First Food

A couple of weeks ago we gave Tiny his first bites of food. Usually I like to wait until they are a little older, but he is so big. (And he bites me) So his first food was rice cereal, not sure he liked that so much. So yesterday we gave him bananas. He ate almost half of it. Today Sam gave him the other half of the banana. I just think that is a ton for it really being the first thing he has eaten. What a little piggy. He his so cute though.

I hate car problems

The other day I loaded my little people into the car and headed over to my house. When I was about half way there my van started to shake and a light came on. So I kind of freaked out and pulled off the road. I decided to take it to a shop and so it ended up at Pep Boys. The nice 12 year old boy that worked there reminded my that it would cost me $90 for a diagnostic. Fine, whatever it takes. So Mary comes to get me and I load the girls up with her and I take Tiny. We were having a carpet guy come after the window guy that I was already missing. So I finally made it to my house and about 30 minutes later the guy called and informed me that nothing was wrong with my van and I only had to pay 86 cents, just my parking break was on. What!?!?! How could I have done that? So When I got back to my in-laws I was telling the story and how embarrassed I was that I did that, and guess what. I didn't do it, Mary was the last one to drive my van. It did make me feel a bit better knowing that I didn't do it.

Hello, anyone there?

Has anyone had a similar experience?? I had never had one until yesterday.

I went to Target that I was not familiar with and I finally found a little worker lady.

I asked, "Do you know where I could find lighters, you know the long ones?"

Lady said as she points, "Um, um I know we have matches over by the charcoal."

So I look where she points and then turn back and say, "I need a lighter."

Lady then points to some regular Bic lighters and says, "We have Bic ones right there."

So I look and say, "Yes, but I need a long one."

Lady throws her arms in the air and says, "I don't know where they are, I just don't know where they are," as she backs away from me.

I walked away dumbfounded at what had just transpired. Who acts like that. All I wanted was pointed in the right direction.

THe fire

We had a great Labor Day at my sisters. The house burning was very cool. I wasted all my camera power on the buildings and the pile and when it came to the house I was out. I was a bit bummed, but my mom got some good pictures. I will have to get them from her so I can get one on here. It really was an amazing sight to see. The house burnt in about a half an hour. The smoke was just billowing out and then the roof caved in. I can't even describe it. If you ever get a chance I would recommend watching a house burn. And of course it was very hot.

Other than that we played games. Mostly hand and foot, thank you Julia for teaching us that game. It is such a great partners game. Sam and I won all but one time. What a great team we make.

House burning??

I weighed tiny today just for fun at home. He just seemed to be so heavy. He came in at 17 pounds. Now we will go to the doctor in about two weeks for the really weigh in, but I just had to know. I think Kit Kat was 17 pounds around a year, and I can't remember about Sinclaire. Once we unpack and I can find the box I will compare them.

We are going to my sisters today and staying for the weekend. Tomorrow is the day. We are FINALLY burning my mom's house tomorrow. I know, I know it has been two, no three years in the making almost but it is finally here. I can't even imagine what it will be like. I will get some great pictures and hopefully get some on here so you all can see the massive fire engulfed house.
What fun it will be.

Wednesday, September 2, 2009

Well, we went to the children's museum this week and had a great time. The new Egypt section is very cool. The girls had a great time and of course we had to get popcorn and cotton candy on the way out.

Our meals this week have taken one quite the twist.

Monday-leftovers
Tuesday-Taquitos
Wednesday-Pigs in a blanket.

What is next- Ice cream and cookies???

One great baby

Well, the hunt is still on. Sam and I have looked at a few more homes and decided they weren't for us. For some reason he always likes one, and I always like the other. But, the house we had put an offer on and waited 7 weeks on will be an option again. The selling agent is still working with the bank and will let us know what he finds out. The good thing about this is we can still look and if we find one we can buy that one, but if we don't we can just wait until this one comes through. At least it makes me more certain that some thing will happen soon.

I try not to talk about how great Tiny is, but I just have to say that he is a great baby. He has slept through the night for over a month and he takes great naps. He hardly ever cries and he will lay in his bed for along time after he wakes up with out crying. What a difference from the girls. I am so blessed by this little bitty guy. I just love him.

(Don't get me wrong I love my girls too, but they just weren't this good as a baby.)

Sew Cute Shop Amy Butler Birdie Sling GUEST GIVEAWAY!!!!

Sew Cute Shop Amy Butler Birdie Sling GUEST GIVEAWAY!!!!

The woes of house hunting

So I have been holding off on posting because I am SO bummed. Last week the bank said bye bye to our deal on the house. They said that it just wasn't good enough. So how does this happen? We were in like the seventh week of waiting. Who knows, I guess it sort of fits with our story on house hunting. We move on and hope for the best. Maybe we can even stay with Sam's parents forever. I think that would be the best for everyone.

Moving on to a better topic. Sam told Sinclaire that she was so smart. I am not sure what we were talking about, but she responded with, "I am a good looker." She then proceeded on with telling us how well she can find stuff, but we thought it was pretty funny. I think she is a "good looker", but I prefer to call her cute.

Today

I am headed up to my mom's today to get peaches. I got a bushel to do what ever I want with. I think I will just like to eat mine seeing as how I have no place to live at the moment. Hopefully in two weeks we will be able to wrap up everything and finalize the house. Tiny is getting so big, when I get my computer back I will get some pictures on.

I have started training for the mini next May. I have ran just a few times and I can tell that i have be stagnant for way too long. My body aches pretty much all over, so hopefully that will go away soon.

Pet peeves or Blessings

Yesterday I was pushing the girls on the swing and I decided to think of 5 pet peeves. This is what I came up with:

Traffic
Walking in wet grass with sandals or bear foot
Trash laying on the counter right by the trash can
Whining

So I had yet to think of that fifth one when I thought to myself, "Why am I thinking of thinks that annoy me, I should be thinking of things that make me happy." So I decided to come up with a different list.

My kiddos laughing
A breezy summer day
Sam pushing the girls on the swing, they love it
A good workout
A really yummy meal
Ice cream
A nap
A hug and smooches from my girls
A laugh from Tiny
His little toes
An extra $20 in my pocket
Fabric stores
Finishing a project
Alone time
Music, I love Broadway stuff
Friends and family

I could go on and on, but you get the idea. Next time I will try to think of things that make me happy instead of dwelling on the stuff that annoys me. What about you, what makes you happy?

"Rest" of week

Thursday- Rest
Friday- 7 miles

I decided to not bike at all yesterday, probably a good choice for me. I bod needs a little rest once in awhile. I will probably throw in some miles tomorrow, but we will see.

I went to get some running shoes tonight at the Running Place. They video you running and then pick shoes that are best for you pronation. I was pretty pronated, so I needed lots of stability. I guess as long as my feet don't hurt that is the real test in the end.

Just a funny story.

We were outside playing today and Sinclaire went behind the tree and then she started screaming. We thought she was really hurt. So I went over there and she wasn't hurt at all, she had just stepped in goose poop. I thought it was hilarious, she did not.

To exercise or not

Well, I had a goal this week that looked like this.

Monday- Bike 5 miles
Tuesday- Bike 6 miles
Wednesday- Bike 7 miles
Thursday- Bike 8 miles
Friday- Bike 9 miles

This is what it looks like so far.

Monday- Bike 5 miles
Tuesday- Bike 6 miles
Wednesday- Bike 20 miles

Yup 20 miles, so does that mean I don't have to go the next two days?
My mother-in-law has a friend that does 20 miles once a week and she invited me to go. It was killer. I had a mountain bike, they had road bikes; I am not a biker, they are; I have never ridden on the road in Indy, they have. But it was fun and I will probably go again sometime. They are going again today, but I am not sure I will be going. I think I need a bit of recovery time. It is a good thing I got a new seat for the bike, or I would be feeling way worse right now.

Signed the papers

It is finally over. Our house has sold and we are officially homeless. What a great feeling.

Monday is the day

We finally have a date and a time for closing. Now maybe it will happen and we will be able to finally "move on." It is set for Monday at 3 pm. I went to my sisters this week and had a great time. We swam in the pool and shopped for fabric. She also likes to quilt, so we both get excited about fabric stores.

Tiny went to the doctor last week, and he wasn't so tiny any more. At two months old this little porker weighed in at 13.5 lbs. I think Kit weighed that much at her year appt. I would look if all my stuff wasn't in a giant container at some storage place. We are just glad he is a healthy boy and he still loves to sleep.

Have I ever mentioned that I love the food network. It is a good thing I don't have cable, or that is all I would do all day. I have no self control when it comes to that. I feel as if I am rambling, so I think I will close this post.

packing day

We packed up most of our stuff yesterday. My mom came and played with the girls all day so I could box up the garage. What a great help that was. It was done by three when the missionaries came to help. So after they helped for an hour they had a bunch of boxes in the back. Then at six a few guys came over and by eight there were six guys to help. So by nine we had everything in the container that was ready. I am so glad that is done. I have boxed up most of the rest of the stuff that needs to go in tomorrow. I kitchen is the worst. I have stuff on the counter, and it has been there for days. I will be glad when it is over. We will be going to my sisters next week, and Sam will stay in Indy. Then we will join him on Friday. We are just waiting for the banks for the go ahead on the house we put an offer on, but I guess it doesn't mater, our closing was pushed back until next week sometime.

Finally

Last Friday the girls went to grandma's and I had the whole day to myself, well with Tiny. But that is like being by myself lots of times. I did do the dishes, but mostly I sewed and did things I wanted to do. The top picture is of a car seat carrier cover. My friend Esther had one and I thought it was great, so I made one for me and one for Julia who is due in September. I thought they turned out very cute.

The second two pictures are of Tiny's blanket, only two months after he was born. I thought that was pretty good. I love it. It is so simple. I love the back with the swirls and really everything about it. It was fun to piece and machine quilt. I can't wait to get more practice with machine quilting, I guess I will have to make more quilts if I am going to get practice.

Just another drama

I always thought I was pretty good at handling stress, but I think after today I think otherwise. There is a difference between handling it and trying to hide it. Sam and I put an offer on a house last night just to find out that they messed up the listing price by $25,000. Hello!!! How is that possible??? We we pretty irritated, but what do you do, but move on. So they obviously did not accept the offer. So we are about to make a new one. But then we realized that the acreage was wrong also. Who is this agent??? Does he know anything about what he is doing???

Sorry about the negative tone of this post, maybe the next one will be better. I just needed someone to listen who wouldn't talk back. Thanks for listening.

Coming to a close

I packed up some boxes today and am so happy to finally be moving. I will be excited to be close to work and live in a cute little neighborhood and just enjoy a bit of a change.

I put Kit Kat in her room today to take a nap and she locked herself in there. What a mess. I tried for 20 minutes to get the lock undone, but I just couldn't do it. So I called a friend I thought would have the tool to open it, but she didn't have it. She did however give me a name to another friend who might be able to unlock it with a nut pick, so I called her. She wasn't home, but I called her at another friends house. She told me to just leave her in there and eventually she would unlock the door on her own. I really didn't want to do this because Kit had a stinky diaper and I could smell it out where I was. But by the time I was off the phone Kit had opened the door and all was well. So thanks to all who helped today.

Blender Baby

I had better be careful. I hope someday I don't find Tiny in the blender. Kit Kat is a bit crazy.

Old Friends

Two weeks ago I got to go to Cinncinatti and see some friends. Some I haven't seen for over a year. We had a baby shower for someone. Can you guess from the photo who it is for? Everyone had a baby there, it was kind of crazy. The shower was for Esther, who adopted a beautiful baby girl. We all had such a great time. We ate, we chatted, we laughed, and we ate some more. After the party Liz, Juli, and I went to the Gap/Old Navy store. They have all there pants for 7 dollars and shirts for 4. I really like the adult section, the kids I think is a bit over priced. I got a pair of pants and 3 shirts for 20 bucks. Love it.

Garden

These are my peas!! I love them, they are taller than I am. I have never had peas grow this tall. I also have never planted them in March. I usually forget and they never get out there until the end of May or into June. They are so yummy. I have about 6 tomatoes with the promise of lots more and my cucumber has tons of blossoms on it. I hope I at least get one off of it before I move, but I don't see that happening.

We have looked at some houses and found some we really like, but they always accept offers right before we see them or right after. It is a very stressful process and I just need everything to fall into place. I think I should start packing though, we only have three weeks left until we have to be out.

Kit had a Birthday

She didn't like blowing out her candles, so Sinclaire helped her.

With her cousin Lucy and her uncle Jake.

Still not wanting to blow out her candles.

A friend offered to make Kit Kat's cake for her birthday, and I just couldn't say no to that. I went to her house to help her, I mostly just watched. It turned out great.

We went to grandma and grandpa's to play with the cousins and had a great time. It is too bad they don't live closer to us so we could play all year long.

We get to move!

I know we have been saying that we are moving for about a year now, and we are still here. But we accepted an offer on our house last Friday and if all goes well we will be moving. We put our house for sale on May 20 so it only took about 2.5 weeks. They showed our house on Wednesday and came for a second look on Thursday. They made an offer that night and we signed the offer on Friday. So the inspection is tomorrow and we are praying all goes well. Closing is set for July 10. I can hardly believe it is happening. I have been thinking about it for so long. We are looking at a list of houses tomorrow so wish us luck.

Mother's Day

I know this is a bit late, but I wanted to add it anyway. Sam was going to make me an edible bouquet for mother's day, and I was going to make my mother-in-law one, so we both made it. It took about an hour to make, and we had a great time. The chocolate covered strawberries were the best. We had a great time eating it and the girls loved the flowers.

The Breakup

So Sam and I had found a realtor in Indy to help us with the home buying process. Well, after working with her for a few Saturdays and just not being impressed we have decided we really don't want to use her. So the question is:

"How do you break up with your realtor?"

One, two, and three

Aren't they just so cute. We are having such a great time. So far three has been great. I am convinced it is only because Tiny is such a good baby. I love that he only likes to eat usually every four hours. And he still sleeps almost all the time. It is wonderful. The girls just love him and always want to give him smooches and be in him face. Kit made up a new word. Every time Tiny makes a noise she says, "Tiny crinin." She just combined crying and whining. I think it is so funny.

Real life

Well, my mom just left and Sam is at work. I guess that means that I have to start being the mom of three little children. The more I think about it the more I am not sure I am ready for this little adventure. But, I guess I can not send any of them back. So lets just hope Tiny sleeps well this afternoon and Sinclaire doesn't get any sicker. Kit Kat started with a fever and sore throat on Sunday and I think she is almost better. Now Sinclaire has a fever so I guess we will see what happens. I guess we know how Tiny feels about the whole situation from this picture.

*Kit Kat always calls the baby Tiny, so that's what we will call him for blogging purposes.

Our new little person

The girls had a great time holding their little brother. The bottom picture is of them singing him the itsy bitsy spider song complete with motions. It was so cute.

He was born Wednesday morning at 4:32, a mere 54 minutes from when my water broke. I have decided that's the way they all should be, quick and to the point. He weighed 7 lbs 10 oz and was 20 inches long. He is such a sleeper and so very cute. We are all excited to have a little boy in our family.

WE WON THE LOTTO

Two babies instead of one!!!

Just kidding. Sam always fills up his car at a gas station that gives out a free quick draw ticket if you purchase 10 gallons of gas. He just knows he will win the 300,000 someday. Anyway his yesterday ticket got 5 of the 10 numbers and so we won $5. Now I can never say I haven't won the lotto.

Evil treats

I found a yummy treat recipe on the Internet about three weeks ago. I left the page open so every time I came to the computer I would see the wonderful pictures. Well I finally made them tonight. I was so excited to try these little peanut butter chocolate squares of goodness. So I had a small piece before anyone else could try them and they were pretty good (not worth the wait and anticipation though). So then I had another little piece with everyone else. I am talking about
one x one squares. Well I just don't think this baby liked them so they kicked it out. I guess I wont have to make them again, ever. What a disappointment. I feel a bit let down, oh well. Tomorrow is a new day with a new treat waiting to be found.

The Green Car

We sold the green car! When we got the wonderful van we then did not need my green car anymore. I have had this beauty for nine years and have really liked this car. I have put 62,000 miles on it in that time period. We had some great times.

Drove the 80 to Utah
Drove to Connecticut
Has been hit twice while I have been driving it
Trip to St Louis
Lots of trips to my moms house
And lots of trips to the grocery
And how could I forget, the green car loved to go to garage sales

I hope it has as much fun at its' new home as we had. And we hope it still has a long, long life.

Swollen ankles

I didn't eat dinner with the fam last night, but Sam told me a funny story that happened.

Sinclaire said she had a baby in her belly and then she kept raising up her leg and pushing on her ankle and saying, "See Pops, I have a baby in my belly." I guess I have been worrying about my swollen ankles a bit too much. Although I should lose about 50 pounds of water weight with how big they are. I guess I should stop saying the word crap and stupid and such also. I am pretty sure I wont like the first time she says that to someone.

Friday, April 24, 2009

This morning I said, "Yea, it is payday."

Sinclaire answered with, "Where are we going to go?"

My pick would be vacation, but I am not sure we could make it to our destination, eat meals, and have somewhere to stay with just one payday. I bet Sinclaire would be happy with a place that has french fries.

Interesting

I think what we found out about the side of the bed that people sleep on is very interesting. Most people don't have a "favorite" side of the bed. I never really thought about changing sides due to circumstance and moving and safety and such. I always thought people slept on that side due to pure preference. I may have to rethink which side I sleep on when we move. Thank you all for playing along. Maybe I will have to think of another interesting peaking question soon.

Friday, April 17, 2009

Side Poll

I know this is kind of a bizarre question, but the other day I was thinking about which side of the bed I slept on. I sleep on the right side, when I am in it. Then I thought of some women I know. My mom, she slept on the right side when my dad was alive. Then I thought of my sister's and a couple of friends and my mother-in-law. They all sleep on the right side. ( Sorry if I embarrassed anyone, but I am pretty sure none of those people read my blog. I know, I know no one in my family reads this thing.) So I was curious if this was a phenomenon, or maybe I just don't know very many people.

How about you? I am very interested in which side of the bed you sleep on?

Static electricity

I think Sinclaire looks hysterical in this picture. Kinda creepy really. Sam made them a tent to play in, which they love, one Saturday that I was at the grocery. I think Sam should stay home more often just to play with the kiddos. I shouldn't say things like that with the economy the way it is, and I really am grateful Sam has a job, it would just be nice to have him home more.

The wound

Here is the picture, for all you that were waiting. Sorry if it grosses you out. Every time Sinclaire looks at it she gets this funny face and tells me to turn it around.

Finger surgery

So yesterday was going along just fine. I went to the grocery, the bank, the library. Then it was time to make food for a friend who had a baby. So I was in a bit of a hurry and made a bad choice, and had to get five stitches in my right index finger. I will take a picture of it when I take the bandage off tomorrow. Now at night not only do I wake up to go to the bathroom, shift to the other side, and take care of two children, I also wake up because I have a throbbing finger.

The superior snow cone

I love snow cones. So what did I ask Sam to get me for my birthday? A snow cone maker. I got the reusable holders and pina colada flavor. I have always liked the snow cone as a child. I would get one at the fair, along with cotton candy, the two most sugary treats available. But now that I am older I know of a superior snow cone. The one with ice cream in the bottom. So that after you add the flavor the ice melts a bit, and then you mix it and it is a creamy, delicious treat. You should all try one for yourself. If you don't have a snow cone maker, come on over and I will make you one.

Belly

Macy, this one is for you. I never really like these shots, but I guess who does.

The Garage

So this is what happens when you just start throwing empty boxes for moving and outgrown kids clothes in the garage in one big heap. Normally I would be VERY embarrassed about how disgusting this really is, but with all that is going on right now, it is just something that happened. But my mom came to play with girls on Saturday and Sam and I cleaned from 9:30-5 pm. It is defiantly more organized, and hopefully we won't have to go through it again before we move.

Yea, I am not diabetic

So I took my gestational diabetes test and they called back and said my levels were a bit high and would I mind coming in and doing the extended version. Well of course I was paranoid for the next week and I had to read all the info I could. But in the end it turned out alright. Thank goodness. I was not looking forward to having a condition while I was pregnant. I saw my doctor today and she is saying it is a boy, so did my mom, I guess I will still have to wait until the end.

Rent or Sell

Up until a week ago we had renters for our great little house here. But some circumstances arose and we are back to where we started. We had looked at a bunch of houses that we didn't like anyway, so hopefully by the time we are able to sell our house some more will pop up that we like better. We found one we like, but it will cost thousands of dollars to fix and clean up. Sam thinks it is a wonderful opportunity. We do think it is a wonderful thing for the government to be throwing 8,000 at people to buy a house, maybe our chance to sell will be greater. Unfortunately we don't qualify for the handout.

The Park

We walked to the park today. It was a wonderful little jaunt. Both children were cranky and we had to go somewhere. Sinclaire still loves the swing, but Kit Kat wanted to do everything. Eventually the slide was the top choice. Kit Kat just loved it. We were only there a short time, but it was well worth it.

Peas, peas, peas

I love to have a garden. Note: I didn't say I love working in it. But I do enjoy the fruits of the little labor that I do put forth. So today we went to the store for dirt and filled in the garden. I put the peas where they went and Sinclaire helped push them down, and then Kit Kat dumped a bunch more on top. Maybe we will get a lot. By this time it was starting to rain, so we hurriedly threw down some lettuce seeds and hopefully they will grow. I really do love fresh garden veggies, almost as much as I love not paying for them.

Jesus wants me for a sunbeam

I know it is a bit late, but I just love this picture of Sinclaire. It is her Sunbeam headband and she loves it. Now if we could just get her to love primary as much.

DIsturbing

Sinclaire is obsesed with being a puppy or a kitty. The other day I looked over and saw her lapping out of a bowl of water. I sort of freaked out on her for a bit. I know it is pretend play and probably good for her imagination, but that was a little beyond barking and meowing for me. Lets hope this phase doesen't last forever. Maybe I should just get her a cat.

BMV

Today I made the trek to the BMV to get a plate for THE VAN. I pull up and there is the usual 20-25 cars in the lot. Already I am dreading the adventure. We get inside and of course there are the normal 50 people in line, and you wonder how all these people got there. I got in line and then I realized that my licence would expire this month. I thought that was great, I could get two things done with the one wait. Then I realized I was 7 months pregnant, sick, and looked terrible. Oh well. Needless to say it is the grossest picture ever taken. I would show you just so you would know how gross it is, but I wont. Atleast the wait time was not very long, considering there was atleast 100 people there by the time I left.

Oh so tired

I am so tired of being sick. I am tired of runny noses, and goopy eyes, coughing, getting up ten times a night, and everything else that goes along with it. I am just so tired. Isn't their a time limit on the length of time you can have a cold?

Oh so pretty

I blew up the computer a couple of weeks ago, literally, so that is why it has taken so long to get this cute picture of Kit up. I just love the do.

Editors note: This was from the syrup a couple of weeks ago.

Sunday mornings

So, ever had a Sunday morning where you are begging to crawl back in bed and not go to church? That was yesterday. It all started when Sinclaire refused to wear one of the two dresses that had long sleeves. We left her sweater at my mom's and didn't have it. One would have thought the whole world blew up. So we tried and tried to covince her to wear one with long sleeves, but she ended up finally putting a white shirt under a jumper. (my fault because I have conditioned her to wear something over, rather that under.) Then Kit Kat refused to wear the black shoes. Even though they looked way cute. She just had to wear the brown ones. Umm...she is ONE. Does she really care what shoes she wears? (Then I have Sam saying in the background, "It's your fault, you made them crazy about which shoes they wear with what outfit." ) So now it is my fault for wanting their shoes to match. Oh and one can not forget the beehive Kit Kat had from syurp from her pancakes. Oh it was lovely and all I really had time to do was spray it with water and plant a bow on top and hope it didn't come off. Oh yes, shoes were flying, children screaming, but we did make it before the opening prayer.

Sugar Plums

Grandma got these very cute little outfits for the girls for Christmas and I couldn't resist trying to get a good picture of them. I took at least 20 and these were my favorites. This just shows Kit Kat's personality so well. And we are glad we did get a very cute one in the mix where two little girls are smiling and no underwear is showing.

Oh Baby

I guess I was a little naughty to just spring that on you all. I am due May 22, although I have been talking to the little person about coming a couple of weeks early. So we will see. We do not know what gender it is, it will be another fun surprise. The best is going to be trying to fit three little people and two big people in this little house. How exciting it will be, especially the night time.

The minivan

We are the proud new owners of a MINIVAN. Not this one exact, but close. Ours is green and we bought it from my mother, who in turn got a nice new one. But I am not complaining, ours was thousands of dollars cheaper which is a huge plus right now. I know I never wanted a minivan, but sometimes we com across a deal that is too good to pass up. Plus who really wants to squish three children in the back of a car.

Once there was a snowman 2

Tall tall tall.

This one is much taller, we can actually see it. Sinclaire loved it when she was helping Sam build it. Kit Kat was napping during the construction, but she got really excited when she saw it.

Past puzzles

I love snow like this, when it is really pretty and I know I don't have to go anywhere. I find myself wishing my girls were older so we could do puzzles. It's was we always did when school was cancelled for the day. I loved it. I haven't done a puzzle for about three years, whenever Sinclaire became tall enough to knock the pieces off the table.

Once there was a snowman

Small, small, small.

Sinclaire was just dying to build a snowman on Sunday and since there was so much snow Sam went out and helped her. I love it. Especially the tiny head. And since we had a snow man, why not a bonfire. It was the perfect weather. I just wish I would have had a hot dog to roast over the roaring flames.

Creepy eyes

Sinclaire and I went to the store today and we saw some fake hair attachments. I am sure this is a new concept for her. She touched it and then looked up at me and asked, "Does it have eyes." Could you imagine going to the store and getting some fake hair, along with some fake eyes. Creepy.

Morning breath

It's so fun in the morning getting your children out of bed. I just love Kit Kat's messy hair and usually she is all smiles and giggles. And then she breathes on you. You know, right up next to your nose so there is no way you are escaping the draft. What a wonderful moment.

The New Year

We had a great holiday. Christmas was spent with Sam's parents and we enjoyed being together. We all like to play games and eat good food, so you can't go wrong with that. Santa was very nice this year, my FAVORITE gift was Christmas charades. What a great game. Thanks Jake. Let me tell you a little story about it.

Sam took me home to meet his family for the first time, and he had a wonderful little brother that loved a fabulous game called Mimitations. Oh yes, my favorite, an acting game. So I played, what else was I to do, ask to be taken home? It was terrible. I had to be a hump backed whale. And then a quail. (Next time I see you please show me how you would have acted out quail.) What kind of people play games like this. I was so embarrassed. But I have yet to play it again and I refuse to play it now. I will NEVER play it again.

We came home for a few days and then went to my sister's for New Year's. It was great. We played games until way too early in the morning and we just got to relax. I had lunch with four fabulous friend's. It was great to catch up with everyone. Then I got my hair cut, thanks Macy I love it. Then the fun really began. My sister got sick, then her husband, then my husband, then Kit Kat. Oh what fun it was. We really can't go a whole holiday without someone getting sick.
