My poor little allergic boy

This little guy has had eczema for months now. We first took him to the doctor in December and they said that he just had horrible dry skin and to try putting lotion on it with Aquaphor and see what happens. Doesn't it look horrible, and I know it itches and hurts and I just feel so bad for him.

Well it just wouldn't go away, so after about 6 weeks of trying different lotions and such we took him back. Finally we got an appointment with the allergist and yesterday we found out the problem.

So now I get to eat this:

While everyone else gets to eat this:

Tiny is allergic to milk, eggs, peanuts, and boarder line soy. Um...so what is he suppose to eat??? I have found three things besides fruits, veggies, beans, rice, and meat(which I am sure has been injected with something that contains one of those things)

Cheerios, corn and rice chex, and homemade bread.

Yum, yum, yum. I am so excited. And since I have tried to get him to take a bottle and won't I get to eat this way too. I know it won't last forever, but a couple of months is long enough.

i am so sorry. I feel your pain. I absolutely hated my diet for my headache thing. Reading labels was terrible, and everything has milk or eggs in it. At least you can have wheat, that helps. I hope that you can get him to take a bottle soon! (But, what could it be if he can't have milk, and maybe not soy. Oh, I am so sorry for you.) :(

Ok, you have got to talk with Laura Haynie in our ward. Her sons face looked exactly like this until they figured out his allergies.

Oh my gosh, his face looks terribly painful! Poor little guy!

That diet would be so hard...I don't have any suggestions for you. Steak and sweet potatoes? Oatmeal and blueberries? Good luck!!

You'll have to post again soon so we can see if his little face clears up!

Fun fun - asparagus OK? (I tried your broiled recipe - big hit).
I know his problem is internal, but some (good quality) olive oil would help his little cheeks some. It's so soothing and has natural anti-fungals. Good luck.

oh no! you can talk to jan's mom if you want, his little brother had a lot of the same allergies as a kid and just grew out of wheat a year or two ago.
