Fun times

Tiny is moving around so much. It is fun to watch because he wants to play with the girls so much, but is not quite sure how. He will follow them around and grabtheir stuff and then they have a fit. Oh what fun it is to watch them grow and learn new things.

Tiny had a dermatologist appointment today and she said that he is welcome to eat milk and soy, just stay away from the peanuts and eggs until one year. And every child has allergies if they are tested so just use the meds and creams she gave me and that will clear it right up. We will see, but I sort of think I would rather prevent the problem than have to fix it with meds.

Baby Pepper

Have you ever seen such a thing? A little bell pepper was growing in the big one, can you tell? I didn't know if this was normal, I have only cut about four bell peppers in my whole life.

Face update

Tiny's face looks so much better. I felt so bad for him, but look how good he looks. It isn't great, but that's okay. And yes I know he has pink pants on, but the back of his legs still look terrible so he borrowed Kit's. I know he is only 10 months old and already turning in his man card.

Great book

I loved this book. I read it about three years ago, but recently finished the second two. Sarah's Quilt and Star Garden are the next two. This is not typically the type of book I would choose, but I am so glad that I read it. It totally sucks you in. You should try it out.

Garden time

I am pretty excited. Last night the girls helped me plant peas and lettuce. I love this time of year. I think I just get so excited to plant and have a garden because we can get outside. Too bad by July I will hate it because the weather is so darn hot. Oh well, I hope it is worth it. I do love peas from the garden. Come to think of it I like everything from the garden better than the store. And I have a big back yard no so I have plenty of space to plant whatever I want.

Sick of being sick

I thought we were finally over the winter sickness. Oh no, Sinclaire went to the doc today and she has ear infections and strep throat. Oh the joys of sickness. She has been waking up in the night screaming so hopefully she will start to feel better now and we can get some sleep. I just hope everyone else doesn't get it. Tiny's face isn't better either so we will be getting a blood draw soon to see if he has anymore allergies.

New favorite game

Well, since mastermind Sinclaire has decided she has two other favorite games. Life and dominoes. She constantly asks to play life, so I had to put it in the garage. Dominoes is good because she can do it herself. I am glad I like to play games. It is a great entertainer and they love it.

Slight improvement

What a sad little boy!

This is what Tiny's face looked like on Sunday. I know it really doesn't look that great, but it did improve a bit. I think it was only the steroid cream, because Monday it started looking really bad again. I think we will give it a few more rounds on the steroid and hope it improves. I just hope he isn't allergic to anything else.

My poor little allergic boy

This little guy has had eczema for months now. We first took him to the doctor in December and they said that he just had horrible dry skin and to try putting lotion on it with Aquaphor and see what happens. Doesn't it look horrible, and I know it itches and hurts and I just feel so bad for him.

Well it just wouldn't go away, so after about 6 weeks of trying different lotions and such we took him back. Finally we got an appointment with the allergist and yesterday we found out the problem.

So now I get to eat this:

While everyone else gets to eat this:

Tiny is allergic to milk, eggs, peanuts, and boarder line soy. Um...so what is he suppose to eat??? I have found three things besides fruits, veggies, beans, rice, and meat(which I am sure has been injected with something that contains one of those things)

Cheerios, corn and rice chex, and homemade bread.

Yum, yum, yum. I am so excited. And since I have tried to get him to take a bottle and won't I get to eat this way too. I know it won't last forever, but a couple of months is long enough.

The Potty

I really don't want to say it due to Murphy's Law. But it is time to get the word out. Kit Kat is potty trained. Night and Day. Goes by herself. Minimal accidents. What a beautiful day. It was such night and day from the first time. Not that I want to do it again or anything.I feel like I should have a party or something. Maybe I will just eat a pint of ice cream by myself for a reward. Kit gets treats for going, shouldn't I get something for teaching her?
