Last Friday the girls went to grandma's and I had the whole day to myself, well with Tiny. But that is like being by myself lots of times. I did do the dishes, but mostly I sewed and did things I wanted to do. The top picture is of a car seat carrier cover. My friend Esther had one and I thought it was great, so I made one for me and one for Julia who is due in September. I thought they turned out very cute. The second two pictures are of Tiny's blanket, only two months after he was born. I thought that was pretty good. I love it. It is so simple. I love the back with the swirls and really everything about it. It was fun to piece and machine quilt. I can't wait to get more practice with machine quilting, I guess I will have to make more quilts if I am going to get practice.

I can let you practice on a full size quilt...colors: any shades of green and some browns and yellows.

Oh my gosh! You are super talented and I'm sad I didn't tap into your talent more when I lived nearby. :) The quilt is beautiful.
hey, you can always practice on a few of mine. They might get done that way. Macy hasn't agreed yet but she might teach me a few things.
