Spring is on its way
Ummm...where did these come from? I took this picture on Monday I think so they have been there for awhile. I just couldn't believe it. I have no idea what they are. It is like Christmas. I guess my top two guesses would be tulips and crocuses. I can't wait until they bloom. Just wait, I will watch them for weeks and they will just be some boring green stem thing.

Woot
So I have become kind of addicted to a site called woot.com. You should check it out. They sell one thing a day until it is sold out. Usually they are electronic, which I am not interested in, but I love the kids one. I have never bought anything, but I know if I watch long enough I will find something I just have to have. Today on woot it is a woot off, so they will put up a new item when one sells out. I just love to see what is going to be up next. Try it. You will see. It is addicting.

Sinclair's favorite game
Sinclaire wanted to play a game the other day, so she picked mastermind off the shelf. At first I said no, and then I thought I could play it some how. We simplified the rules a bit and it is fun. She loves to play and it is way better than memory.
**Tonight I played life with the girls and decided that they were a bit young. It was my favorite game when I was younger so I was dying to play it. I think I will wait awhile longer for a second round.

FHE
We had family home evening last night. We made paper dolls and talked about how people are not all the same, we are all different. Pops was the only boy in the room so I asked Sinclaire what was different about him. I was expecting the obvious, he is a boy, but no she said, "He has no hair." I just love kids.

My mom was here this week and we had a great time. The girls just sort of followed her around and wouldn't let her take any breaks. I just sort of did nothing and took a break myself. I guess I did read a book though, that had to count for something. Sam has started to put the trim up around the door frames and the baseboards in. So at least some progress is happening. Now I just need an extra room for my food storage. Here are some pictures of the house I grew up in. I just love the second picture, a giant ball of flames. It used to be a building behind the house.
