I know this is kind of a bizarre question, but the other day I was thinking about which side of the bed I slept on. I sleep on the right side, when I am in it. Then I thought of some women I know. My mom, she slept on the right side when my dad was alive. Then I thought of my sister's and a couple of friends and my mother-in-law. They all sleep on the right side. ( Sorry if I embarrassed anyone, but I am pretty sure none of those people read my blog. I know, I know no one in my family reads this thing.) So I was curious if this was a phenomenon, or maybe I just don't know very many people.
How about you? I am very interested in which side of the bed you sleep on?

When I'm in the bed, I'm on the left.
Well, growing up I slept on the left side (if you are looking at the bed) b/c my sister insisted on the right side.
When I got married, I did the same...until I watched a scary movie and was convinced that I needed to be on the right side so I could be the farthest from the door.
Then, when we had Tessa, I moved back to the left b/c it was closer to the crib (she slept in our room).
Then we moved to MN and I moved back to the right b/c it was closer to the door and getting to Tessa. I've stayed on the right ever since.
I think I'm a bit crazy.
I sleep on the right side. I like to be farthest from the door. So, if the position of the door changes I change too.
I'm a left sider, although that hasn't always been the case. I think I just sleep closest to the door, and we re-arrange the furniture from time to time . . .
I sleep in the middle...ha ha. Actullay I sleep on the left, but I have slept on the right. It depends which side is easier to get out and take care of baby. I'm not stuck on a side.
I too change sides with each move. I like to be farthest from the door - just in case there is a burglar or something. Then it is quicker for Sal to go check it out. :)
I sleep farthest from the door (Right side), but when Phil is gone I sleep on his side.
I sleep on the left side because when I poke Tyler when he's snoring he usually rolls over onto his right side and I avoid his breathing on me.
Great Question! I am a right sider right now, but my side usually depends on where the door/window/wall is. It is totally weird but I always think of an intruder coming and I get the furthest away from where they would be coming in. I am crazy I know.
jan has to sleep closest to the door - it's a protection thing. so everytime we move i have to switch. now that he's gone i sleep in the middle. the last time he was home he tried to teach me how to protect myself with a knife he hid, but then he laughed and told me just to dial 911. what, am i not as intimidating??
right, but have been known to sleep on the left depending on the circumstance
Wow! You are quite the popular blogger:) I sleep on whatever side is furthest from the door. I was happy to read I'm not the only crazy one out there.
This is way late, but, I sleep on the right at this point. It comes down to where is closest to the bathroom when I am pregnant and then we get into the rut. Kristy
